Apple & Maple Bourbon

You know this is a good one, when my bourbon-hating mother keeps it in her kitchen year round! 

It starts like all the best apple fragrances, with a hint of cinnamon, and some orange to brighten it up.  Add in the bourbon and butter, and round it out like all good buttered drinks with some maple and vanilla.
